The sunshine
As much as I hate winter and winter storms, even I must admit the beauty of the aftermath of the storms.
In the first picture on the right, I was amazed by the stark contrast of the white on whiteness of the shot. There is something to be said for the different shades of gray. I really like the way the picture turned out. Even if I did take it into the sun, which I think is a no-no in photography. I did block the sun with the branches though.

In the second photo, well the great thing about the snow is that the cardinals really stand out and as we all know, I like cardinals.
And this guy really stood out! You can also tell how much snow we got by looking at the bottom right of the photo and see that mound of snow. I think they said something like 14 inches of the white death.
And yes, despite all of the beauty, I still hate the stuff. I can still appreciate it as well.
